Angel Program

PUC angels (PUC Angel Association) is a non-profit association that seeks, through education, to improve the entrepreneurship and employability system in Brazil. We believe that the first venture a person makes is their professional career.

Today we are more than 15 direct employees and 300 executives and students in the Angel Program (which you can also be part of), where you can act as a mentor, executive, entrepreneur, and/or investor.

Mentorship Format Description

This is a voluntary and remote position for Mentor (with the possibility of ascending to the position of Angel Advisor) for Startups and/or Students at PUC angels. The role involves providing guidance and support to startup founders and students, assisting in business planning, mentoring, coaching, and sales activities.

About Remuneration

Mentorships for startups can be remunerated through cash, equity, or donations. We encourage startups to value this relationship, promoting greater commitment between mentor and mentee.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of work market experience
  • Ability to think strategically and practically
  • Passion for contributing to society through education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work remotely
  • Experience in the specific sector proposed for mentoring
  • Proficiency in Portuguese (English and Spanish are a plus)
  • Minimum availability of 1 hour per month (negotiable)
  • Patience and ability to teach and motivate actions

Mentorship Formats

For Startups

Biweekly or monthly sessions of 1 hour, with negotiable remuneration.

For Students

Biweekly or monthly sessions of 30 minutes to 1 hour (non-remunerated).

Additional Opportunities

  • 1.Participation as an investor in projects
  • 2.Pitch sessions (online or in-person), acceleration events, and strategic partnerships, such as with the Pinheiro Neto Advogados office.
  • 3.Participate in PUC angels Market Committees to help with information, trends, and regulations of your market of operation

Networking and Events

Thematic events, in-person and online, promoted by PUC angels and the Committees, held at locations such as PUC-SP, inovabra, and FIEP.
